Reclaiming “farm to table” through earnest gatherings on the land.
“This is the power of gathering: it inspires us, delightfully, to be more hopeful, more joyful, more thoughtful…
in a word, MORE ALIVE.”
- Alice Waters

Cooking with fire

CSA DINNERS
Molly formed a forever friendship with Slip Away Farm in 2016. Every year, around the third week of August, Molly heads to the little-gem island of Chappaquiddick to cook for 60 CSA members who gather in the greenhouse around one long table built by farm manager and woodworker , Collins Heavener. Food moves straight from field to fire in the makeshift kitchen of a converted wash-station, thanks to the help of a few grills and a little imagination. Honoring the late season bounty, these four course feasts raise money for Slip Away’s yearly farm needs.

Ticketed Gatherings
Gatherings range in price dependent on venue, occasion, and cost of goods. We do our best to offer affordable dinners whenever possible and want to make all events accessible for those whose palates don’t always match their paychecks. Want to attend but can’t stomach the ticket price? Don’t hesitate to get in touch! We are happy to discuss ways to make the experience more affordable.
