Carissa’s, East Hampton, NY

An expansion of East Hampton’s beloved bread bakery to a second location, Carissa’s opened Summer 2019 to considerable acclaim. Molly served as kitchen and programing consultant during build-out and led the kitchen as opening head chef, including hiring and training all back-of-house staff. Borrowing inspiration from Tartine and Gjusta, she implemented a full service counter offering breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, and Carissa’s famous baked goods. By night, a growing crowd of regulars flocked to a full bar, with Molly’s expanded dinner menu honoring the farms and fisheries of Long Island.
